New and used home furnishings are donated to AGAPE by members of our community and some national stores. We then distribute, free of charge, a variety of items that our clients cannot afford when setting up a household. (A copy of a signed lease is required.) Items donated for distribution, if available, include beds, mattresses, bedding, couches, love seats, chairs, recliners, end and coffee tables, lamps, dressers, desks, dining room/kitchen tables and chairs, small and large appliances, table settings, pots and pans. We also have handicap equipment and baby equipment in small amounts. The goal of this program is to collect and store materials ahead of time so that when hardships arise, we are prepared to aid those of our community in need.
